It’s certainly not the case that every living room suddenly has a brand new record player. Accompnied by a record cabinet full of LPs. But there is a chance that you will encounter such a setting now and then. A multitude of hardcore vinyl lovers continue to embrace the medium. And this group presumably grew so large that more and more artists cannot get their product pressed anymore. Or have to wait far too long for it. In Germany there is now the phenomenon that various artists have bought their own record press. This way they avoid the queues at the big factories. It is an option, but whether it is really worth the long-term investment…?
