Klipsch rolls out party speakers

OK, it’s not high-end. But: some audio enthusiasts also want to throw a party now and then too, and Klipsch offers suitable speakers for that.

The Klipsch GIG XL and GIG XXL are typical party speakers. Both models feature a built-in light show to enhance the sound produced. Also a microphone is included, which can make the speakers interesting for presentations and the like too. Practical is that both speakers have a built-in battery so they can be used without a power outlet if desired. Furthermore, both the Klipsch GIG XLs and the GIG XXLs are linkable to form a stereo pair. You stream sound via Bluetooth, or use the USB input. If you have an analog source, a cinch line input is available for that.

The Klipsch GIG XL is the smaller version, equipped with an 18 cm bass driver and a 5 cm mid-high horn. It can be used perfectly well outdoors thanks to its IPX4 certification (splash-proof). The GIG XXL is the most extensive version. In it you will find two 18 cm bass drivers as well as two 5 cm mid-high horns. A nice extra here is the 6.3 mm jack instrument input. Plug in a guitar, keyboard or other instrument with an audio output and arrange some live entertainment.

The Klipsch GIG XL costs €249, while the GIG XXL changes hands for €399. Available starting this month.
