Epson has released the EpiqVision EH-LS650, an ultra-short throw 4K projector that lets you turn any living room into a movie theater.
The Epson EH-LS650 is part of the EpiqVision series. Short throw too, which means you can simply place it on a cabinet close against the wall. No need to drill holes in the ceiling or otherwise “rebuild” the living room. Thinking about speakers isn’t necessary, because they’re built in. These are Yamaha speakers, which deliver up to 20 watts of power thanks to an amplifier that is also built-in. Furthermore, it is a so-called “smart” projector. In this case, it means that Android TV runs on the Epson EH-LS650; Chromecast is present too.
Also for gamers
With the Epson EH-LS650, it’s possible to project images with a diagonal of 60 to 120 inches. There is good news for gamers too: the projector has an input delay time of just 20 ms
The Epson EH-LS650 costs €2699, available from October in black and white.
