The Dual CS 529 BT is a fully automatic turntable. And that means it can also be controlled via an app.
OK, you still have to put the record on the Dual CS 529 BT turntable yourself. But other than that, it’s fully automatic. Of course, if you wish, you can control it all via the appropriate buttons. But nowadays everything should be controllable via an app, Dual seems to have thought. And so an app – available for both iOS and Android – was actually created to control all the functions the player offers from the comfort of your smartphone. Think RPM selection or stop and start. Even a repeat function has been thought of.
Bluetooth, of course
The string-powered Dual CS 529 BT has a built-in MM phono preamplifier should you wish to listen even without Bluetooth. Because yes: BT stands for Bluetooth, of course. Turntable and rotation speed sensor are decoupled from the plinth. This should minimize the transmission of unwanted vibrations.
The CS 529 BT is available per direct, paying €999 for a black finish and €1099 for a walnut finish (at least those are the retail prices we came across).
