The new M&K Sound IW500 is the first in-wall speaker with THX Domus certification, making it ideal for home theater and stereo.
In-wall speakers can be a very nice option in case you want to save your interior from ‘ugly’ cables running everywhere. The M&K Sound IW500 (where M&K stands for Miller & Kreisel, by the way) offers just that option. You can install them either horizontally or vertically oriented, or as a center speaker. According to the manufacturer, the three-way speaker has passed all the stringent tests and requirements to now adorn itself with THX Domus certification. The speaker’s frequency range runs from 80 Hz to 20 kHz. This makes them perfectly suited for use in combination with a subwoofer.
According to the manufacturer, the M&K Sound IW500 is particularly fitted for larger home theaters and other ‘media rooms’. The IW500 has a price tag of €4999, exact availability is not yet known at the time of writing.
