A good, centralized grounding solution can prevent a lot of issues in a more extensive audio setup. The Clearaudio Terra might be the ideal solution for this purpose!

Buzzing sounds caused by, for example, a loose ground on a source device can be quite annoying. While using grounded power outlets for all devices can partially solve the issue, it also increases the risk of ground loops. A better solution is a central (and in this case, star-shaped) grounding point like the Clearaudio Terra. It’s very straightforward: connect the ground terminal of any device (if it has one) to the Terra via a grounding cable. Not every device will benefit noticeably, but for something like a turntable, it can be extremely useful. And if the preamp or integrated amplifier is also neatly connected to the Terra, it can help provide a more stable, quiet sound.

The Clearaudio Terra offers three direct grounding points and three ground lift (floating) ground connectors. These last three are especially helpful if a ground loop arises when connecting multiple audio components. The Terra is available in both silver and black finishes and is priced at €990.
