The new Acoustic Energy AE1 Classic is a tribute to the studio monitor that gained worldwide fame in its original form.
Benelux distributor Viertron reports that, due to the great success and continued recognition of the original AE1, a new version of this monitor has been released. It serves as a tribute to the AE1 Classic—what Viertron describes as “a retro release with the same look and sound philosophy as the legendary original, but equipped with modern components and updated finishing.”
Acoustic Energy made its global breakthrough in 1987 with the original AE1, a studio monitor celebrated for its incredible detail, speed, and precision. The original model has since won numerous awards in both the professional and consumer markets.
The new Acoustic Energy AE1 Classic will be available by the end of this year, with a projected retail price of €750 per unit.
