Dutch distributor Viertron has good news for owners of Atoll streamers: after a firmware update, the devices are now AirPlay 2 compatible.
Firmware updates that add meaningful functionality to existing hardware are always welcome. Viertron has announced that AirPlay 2 is now available for the following Atoll streamer models:
- MS120
- ST200 Signature
- ST300 Signature
- SDA200 Signature
- SDA300 Signature
To activate the feature, all you need to do is update the firmware. Viertron explains the process as follows:
Go to the Settings menu → Firmware Update → Check for Update.
Once the update is complete, your streamer will automatically appear in the AirPlay menu on your Apple device. Streaming music has never been easier!
