Philips Wins 7 Red Dot Design Awards

Philips Ambilight TVs, monitors, and the new kids’ headphones have won a total of seven accolades at the 2025 Red Dot Design Awards.

The design team behind Philips TVs, monitors, and audio products—based in Amsterdam—has once again received international recognition for its signature European designs. Philips Ambilight TVs, monitors, and the new children’s headphones secured seven awards at the prestigious Red Dot Design Awards 2025, an important event for manufacturers worldwide.

The renowned design prizes are awarded by an independent jury of 50 international design experts. Each year, the Red Dot Awards celebrate the very best in product design, based on criteria such as functionality, quality, ergonomics, innovation, and sustainability.

Philips Winners – Red Dot Awards 2025

The following Philips products were recognized this year:

Philips OLED+950 Ambilight TV

The new flagship OLED+950 is designed to showcase the best picture quality of 2025. With its understated, near-borderless design, ultra-thin aluminum frame, and elegant feet, all attention is directed to the screen. Thanks to a top-tier OLED panel, 4-sided Ambilight, and a powerful built-in audio system, the OLED+950 delivers one of the highest quality and most immersive viewing and listening experiences available. (Available from October 2025)

Philips OLED+910 Ambilight TV

The OLED+910 continues the award-winning partnership between Philips Ambilight TV and Bowers & Wilkins. This year’s model once again raises the bar for premium design, picture, and sound. The integrated audio system is subtly incorporated into the design, with smooth curves that harmoniously blend technology and aesthetics. The luxurious Kvadrat fabric and refined remote with hidden, backlit buttons underscore the elegance of this modern centerpiece. (Available from September 2025)

Philips OLED850 Ambilight TV

The OLED850 is designed for those who want seamless integration of design, ease of use, and sound quality. Its central, swiveling stand allows for a perfect fit with the ultra-slim Philips TAB8200 Soundbar. The magnetic attachment to the metal stand and matching dark metal finish create a unified look. A clever cable management solution completes the harmonious overall design. (Series 8, OLED810 / OLED850 available from July 2025)

Philips K4200 Kids Headphones

The new K4200 headphones for children combine a fresh, trendy design with child-friendly technology. Clean shapes and a playful light ring make them visually appealing, while the volume limit (85 dB) and adjustable restrictions via the Philips app provide peace of mind for parents. The kids’ headphones come in two color variations and are already available.

And there’s more

In addition to the above products, the Philips design team was also honored with three Red Dot 2025 Design Awards for the Philips B2D500 and B2D400 Monitor Series, as well as the new Philips Evnia 5000 Gaming Monitor.

Rod White, Chief Design Officer, commented on the latest Red Dot Awards:

Our forward-thinking approach to product development, driven by both our technical and design teams, is truly unique in the consumer electronics industry.

It allows Philips TV & Sound and Monitors to stand out in a market where many products tend to look alike. We believe our products and designs are truly exceptional, and we greatly appreciate the professional design community affirming that.
