Wires4Music has introduced two new audiophile-grade USB cables, named Horus and Osiris—designed to be the finishing touch to your high-end setup.
USB cables at this price point—like those from Wires4Music—are typically purchased as a final refinement, once all other components and interconnects in the system are already of high quality. That’s when differences like these begin to matter.
The Horus USB cable combines two types of conductors: solid core 6N pure silver and silver-plated OCC copper. As for insulation and shielding materials, you’ll find (if you were to open the cable—which we don’t recommend) PTFE, raw cotton, and air. The outer jacket is made from Techflex woven nylon. For connectors, the manufacturer has chosen Viborg UA201 and UB201 plugs.
The Wires4Music Osiris (shown above in the screenshot) uses only pure silver conductors. In all other aspects, it is structurally similar to the Horus. Both cables are handmade in the EU.
