They never lose their charm: all-in-ones like the new Sonoro Avaton. With the look of a classic “table radio,” they’ll find a place anywhere in the home.
In the past, many households featured a table radio (not always on the table). Essentially, it was a receiver with one or two built-in speakers: switch it on and enjoy. That concept never truly disappeared, and the new Sonoro Avaton proves it. In terms of size, it’s indeed comparable to the original table radio — but with far more functionality.
Developed and manufactured in Germany, the Avaton focuses heavily on streaming. It features four high-power drivers plus a subwoofer, and straight out of the box supports major music streaming services such as Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music HD, Napster, and good old Spotify Connect.
At the same time, the Sonoro Avaton works with Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and bidirectional Bluetooth (Audiocast-ready). You can connect it to your home network via wired Ethernet or wireless Wi-Fi. Physical connections are also included: HDMI ARC, USB-A, USB-C, AUX in, and optical digital in.
The Sonoro Avaton will be available from early October at a price of €1,199.
