With the new AudioQuest PowerQuest TV3, you can protect your connected equipment against high (peak) voltages.
At first glance, a surge protector like the new AudioQuest PowerQuest TV3 might not seem all that necessary. But don’t be mistaken: while the familiar overhead power lines have disappeared from many Western cityscapes, they are still very much present in rural areas across the world. A lightning strike some distance away on such a line can cause extremely costly damage. In addition, the proliferation of solar panels on sunny days often leads to significantly higher mains voltage—even if you don’t have panels yourself, the rest of the neighborhood might.
For all these scenarios, the AudioQuest PowerQuest TV3 comes in handy. The device itself never gives out; after a power surge, you simply press the reset button and it works as before. An added benefit is the built-in filtering. This is distributed across three sockets: one high-power outlet and two with linear filtering. The included power cable is made of ultra-pure Long Grain Copper (LGC).
The AudioQuest PowerQuest TV3 is priced at $249.95, which is quite reasonable—at least as long as no unwelcome tariffs are added. Availability in Europe is expected from October.
