The brand-new, pill-shaped Devialet Phantom Ultimate, from the French audio specialist, marks the next step in the evolution of this unique line of speakers.
It’s been ten years since the first Phantom was introduced—a design that immediately stood out for its futuristic looks. The new Phantom Ultimate refines the concept even further, with improved technology, a redesigned acoustic structure, and a refined exterior. Under the hood, Devialet has implemented state-of-the-art signal processing and a complex mechanical architecture designed to deliver an exceptionally detailed sound image—exactly what discerning audiophiles are after.
Two Models
The series includes two versions: the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB (pictured above) and the Phantom Ultimate 98 dB.
Then there is the 108 dB model, which delivers up to 1100 watts of power across a frequency range of 14 Hz to 35 kHz, featuring a newly developed tweeter and optimized low-frequency chassis. The smaller 98 dB version offers up to 400 watts of power, covering 18 Hz to 25 kHz.
Streaming
The speakers can be used in solo, stereo, or multiroom configurations. Maximum digital playback quality reaches 32-bit / 96 kHz. The new Devialet OS (DOS3) supports AirPlay, Google Cast, is Roon Ready, and integrates Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect. Streaming from a NAS via UPnP is also supported.

- Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – priced at €1500, or €1800 for the gold-accented special edition.
