The Grado Signature S750 is a characteristically Grado open-back, over-ear headphone — both in form and function — but this time positioned firmly in the brand’s top segment.

While the American manufacturer also offers a range of more affordable open designs, the new over-ear Signature S750 steps up into considerably higher-end territory. Inside, it features 50 mm S-drivers with diaphragms made from a carbon and paper fiber composite. According to Grado, this combination delivers a natural, lifelike presentation and a unique listening experience.

Its housings are made from aluminium, bringing the total weight to 460 grams. The company notes that the S750 has been designed with long listening sessions and durability in mind. The new “B” ear cushions reduce the distance between the driver and the ear for a more intimate and direct sound.

Wired

Like it or not: the Grado Signature S750 is a wired-only headphone, though the cable can be detached. It comes standard with a 4-pin balanced XLR connector, while other cable lengths and terminations are available as optional accessories.

The S750 will retail for $1,695 USD and is expected to ship in November. As for pricing outside the U.S., that will—as always—depend heavily on whatever new import duties or tariffs Washington may decide to introduce at the time.
