Qobuz Connect is now available via a firmware update for Cambridge Audio’s fourth-generation StreamMagic devices.
Cambridge Audio has — quite logically — embraced Qobuz Connect. A firmware update is now rolling out for the company’s StreamMagic streamers, adding full support for this feature. The benefit? Once installed, Qobuz playback is handled directly on the device itself, so you no longer need to use an external source such as a smartphone.
This is great news for music and hi-fi enthusiasts who own a Cambridge Audio StreamMagic Gen 4. The update gives them access to Qobuz’s expertly curated high-quality music catalogue — not only in terms of sound, but also content.
