It’s not overly expensive but offers plenty of features and — as you’d expect from the brand — an excellent price-to-performance ratio. The Twin Amp Ultra supports both MM and MC cartridges and, according to the manufacturer, is designed for passionate listeners. To keep noise and interference at bay, the actual preamp and its power supply are each housed in their own metal enclosure. The power supply module uses a shielded transformer for further noise suppression.
