Spanish brand Vulkkano has introduced the DT10 turntable, an entry-level model designed for anyone making (or re-making) their first steps into the world of vinyl.
A nice option for the holiday season, perhaps: an affordable and complete turntable from Spain. The DT10 can play both LPs at 33⅓ RPM and singles at 45 RPM, and uses a belt-drive system. According to the manufacturer, wow and flutter are rated at 0.15%, while the signal-to-noise ratio comes in at 55 dB. Included in the package are a pre-mounted 8.6-inch tonearm with adjustable counterweight and an Audio-Technica AT-3600L cartridge.
To ensure maximum compatibility, the turntable features a built-in phono preamp, which can also be switched off. This means you can use the Vulkkano DT10 with either a preamplifier or an integrated amplifier—with or without a built-in phono stage. Power is supplied by an external adapter.
As promised, the price of the DT10 is pleasantly low: €159.99 (and at the time of writing even €135.99). Perfect for dusting off that old record collection during the dark winter months!
