With the new Canton Smart Libero, you can easily expand an existing Canton system. It is also possible to use the speakers in a stand-alone configuration, but in that case the Smart Connect 5.1 hub is required. The starter package includes this hub plus two Smart Libero speakers and is priced at €1,073. If you already own the hub, or another compatible product such as the Smart Soundbar 10, a Smart Sounddeck, or another supported device (see the “Set-up wählen” menu on the product page), the speakers can also be purchased separately.
Connection is handled via the Canton Smart App, and the system operates wirelessly, so there is no need to run speaker cables.
Internally, each Smart Libero houses a low/midrange driver and a tweeter, with the crossover set at 3 kHz. Maximum output power is rated at 70 watts per speaker. The Smart Libero is available in black or white, priced at €389 per pair.
