Just across the Dutch border in Oberhausen, the HiFi auf Burg Vondern event will take place on January 17 and 18. A special location with equally special equipment!
For visitors from the Netherlands in particular, a trip to Oberhausen is easy to manage. And that’s exactly where the (now tenth) edition of HiFi auf Burg Vondern will be held, on January 17 and 18. On both days, the event is open from 11:00 to 17:00. It is especially a paradise for lovers of analogue audio in the broadest sense of the word, audiophiles, and the simply curious.
What you can expect ranges — on the analogue side — from turntables to tape decks, including restored reel-to-reel tape recorders. Tube-based equipment will of course be well represented. You’ll also encounter a wide range of well-known brands such as Teac, Technics, Quadral, Audio-Technica, and many others.
Vinyl enthusiasts will find plenty to browse and buy, including limited editions, new and NOS records, as well as other media such as tapes and cassettes. In addition to hi-fi and music, there will once again be an exhibition of regional artists, as in previous years. A restaurant with an attractive menu will also be available.
All of this takes place in a medieval castle.
