If you are using Audirvāna Studio, there is good news: the upgrade to version 3.0 is now available for installation.
Audirvāna Studio is a high-end software music player that, in this “Studio” version, also supports playback from a NAS or server. The software operates at kernel level and provides exclusive access to the DAC. It also includes features such as a 10-band parametric equalizer and upsampling capabilities. According to the developers, the new version 3.0 ensures optimal playback quality across all supported platforms.
New in this version are a refreshed design and a convolution engine for acoustic correction. Crossfeed for headphone listening has also been added, along with balance adjustment featuring gain and delay.
In addition to the main application, the accompanying mobile apps have also been updated and are available for both iOS and Android.
There is also good news for users who do not subscribe to Audirvāna Studio but instead use Audirvāna Origin (the one-time purchase version for local playback). An upgrade for this version is planned for later this year, with the new features offered as an optional add-on suite.
Upgrading is simple: just restart Audirvāna Studio and the update process will begin.
