Dutch distributor Mafico has taken over the Benelux distribution of Lake People Audio products as of March 1.
This is good to keep in mind if you are planning to purchase something from the Lake People Audio brand or have questions about the products. Distributor Mafico has now taken the brand under its wing. In addition to Lake People Audio, the agreement also includes the related brands Violectric and Niimbus, which until recently were distributed by Dune Blue.
“Lake People Audio manufactures all its equipment entirely in Germany and is known for its uncompromising technical approach. Think of discrete amplifier stages, extremely low distortion, high output reserves and generously dimensioned power supplies. No unnecessary frills, but a focus on power, low noise and distortion, maximum dynamics and long-term reliability,” Mafico writes about the newly acquired brands.
Violectric and Niimbus headphones
Within the portfolio, Lake People primarily focuses on the professional market, while Violectric and Niimbus are clearly aimed at high-end headphone enthusiasts. According to the distributor, the headphone amplifiers from Violectric and Niimbus are praised for their control, transparency and their ability to effortlessly drive even difficult-to-power headphones.
“With Mafico, the brands gain a distributor with a broad dealer network in the Benelux and extensive experience in both the high-end and pro-audio markets. Mafico would like to express its appreciation for the team at Dune Blue, which has played an important role in introducing and positioning the Lake People Audio brands in the Benelux over the past years,” the distributor adds.
For end users, Mafico promises that the core values remain the same: “German build quality, an honest tonal balance and products designed to deliver years of intensive performance. With Mafico as the new point of contact, the next step is being taken in the further development of these brands in the Benelux.”
