The hefty Marshall Bromley 750 has now gained a smaller and for some more practical sibling in the form of the Bromley 450.
Some time ago, we already covered the Marshall Bromley 750, a speaker that wouldn’t look out of place on a stage in terms of both design and size. If that model is a bit too large for your needs, but you still want to liven up a party every now and then, the new Bromley 450 offers a more manageable alternative. It’s still far from compact, but significantly more practical. Just like its bigger brother, it features an integrated light show and True Stereophonic sound, designed to deliver a 360-degree audio experience.
The 450 delivers a solid maximum output of 400 watts, powered by a Class D amplifier. This power is distributed across two 6.5-inch woofers and four 2-inch full-range drivers, further supported by two 8-inch passive radiators.
The Marshall Bromley 450 measures 36 x 26.1 x 49.2 cm and weighs 12.2 kg. A built-in (and neatly replaceable) battery provides over 40 hours of playback on a full charge. In terms of connectivity, you’ll find RCA, USB-C and XLR/6.3 mm combo inputs for microphones and/or instruments. Wireless streaming is handled via Bluetooth 5.3, with support for Auracast and codecs including AAC, LC3 and SBC. Thanks to its IP55 rating, a splash of water won’t be an issue.
The Bromley 450 is priced at €649.
