Leak has expanded its Sandwich series with a new and very compact addition: the Sandwich 100 standmount speaker.
Of course, you don’t necessarily have to place it on a stand. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the new Leak Sandwich 100 also fits perfectly on a bookshelf. It is a true Leak, meaning the newly designed 15 cm long-throw mid/bass driver features the brand’s signature sandwich construction. It is paired with a 30 mm soft dome tweeter. According to the manufacturer, both drivers are seamlessly integrated via an in-house designed crossover.
The cabinet consists of an outer layer made of MDF and an inner layer of high-density particleboard. These different materials are intended to break up and disperse resonances. A special adhesive layer bonds the two layers together.
The Leak Sandwich 100 will be available from this month at a price of €649 per pair.
