If you’re in the mood for a deep dive into the work of Pink Floyd and Johnny Cash, this Friday and Saturday are the perfect time to visit The Hifi Studio Number One.
This Friday, May 8, and Saturday, May 9, the Dutch The Hifi Studio Number One in Leiden will be fully dedicated to two icons of music history: Pink Floyd and Johnny Cash. During this special event in Leiden, visitors can explore their music, stories and lasting influence in greater depth. “An inspiring gathering for anyone who appreciates music with character, meaning and history,” according to the organizers. They continue: “During these exclusive sessions, we will welcome Thomas Saheicha, General Manager of the German loudspeaker brand Audio Physic, for engaging presentations where musical experience takes center stage.”
Each session focuses on one iconic artist:
- a session dedicated to Johnny Cash
- a session dedicated to Pink Floyd
“Thomas will guide you through 10 to 12 carefully selected tracks, sharing personal stories, background insights and his passion for music and recordings. During the Pink Floyd session, we begin with early recordings to clearly illustrate the evolution of their distinctive sound. The presentations are relaxed and interactive, with plenty of room for audience interaction and the exchange of musical experiences. The music will be played via high-quality streaming sources and experienced through the impressive Audio Physic Cardeas loudspeakers,” the announcement adds.
