The Stack Audio Auva Platform is a dedicated isolation base designed for components such as turntables, CD players, DAC streamers and more—all with the goal of minimizing unwanted vibrations.
Unwanted vibrations are particularly harmful to turntables, although Stack Audio states that other hi-fi equipment can benefit as well from its new Auva Platform. According to the manufacturer, vibrations within sensitive components always result in audible degradation of signal quality.
The Auva Platform is engineered to absorb and dissipate vibrational energy. To achieve this, it incorporates 35 individually tuned damping cells built into a reinforced wooden honeycomb structure. This construction is then sandwiched—rather like a hamburger—between two precision-machined anodized aluminum plates. The entire assembly rests on four of Stack Audio’s proprietary CSA isolation feet.
The anti-vibration platform measures 450 mm x 380 mm and stands 34 mm high. It weighs 9 kilograms and is supplied with four sets of isolation feet designed for different load ranges. Four direct-coupling adapters are also included. Maximum supported weight is 100 kilograms.
The Auva Platform is priced at €1,707.72.
