At the recently concluded High End Vienna exhibition, Dual unveiled a prototype of its upcoming CS 629Q fully automatic
For vinyl enthusiasts who are also willing to embrace modern technology, the forthcoming Dual CS 629Q offers an interesting blend of analogue playback and digital convenience. The fully automatic turntable can be controlled entirely via a dedicated smartphone app. Bluetooth streaming is also included, allowing users to listen through wireless headphones, Bluetooth-enabled active speakers, soundbars and other compatible devices.
According to the manufacturer, the CS 629Q features a newly developed direct-drive motor specifically engineered to work seamlessly with the turntable’s fully automatic mechanism.
The expected retail price of the CS 629Q is €1,800, with availability planned for sometime next year. A photograph of the prototype was recently shared on the manufacturer’s Facebook page and can be seen above.
