Audio Note (UK) gave visitors a first glimpse of its upcoming DAC 4.1x IZVOR D/A-converter at the recent North West Audio Show 2026 in the UK.

It was undoubtedly a warm weekend in Cheshire on 27 and 28 June, but that did not stop audio enthusiasts from turning out in force to see the latest product premieres. Among the highlights was the new Audio Note DAC 4.1x IZVOR, which made its public debut at the show.

According to the manufacturer, the new DAC has been designed to deliver a noticeably less “processed” presentation, aiming instead for a more natural, analogue-like sound.

At the heart of the unit is a discrete resistor ladder (R-2R) digital-to-analogue converter, reflecting Audio Note’s long-standing preference for discrete conversion technology over conventional delta-sigma designs.

At the time of writing, however, very little additional information has been released. Those interested in the new DAC will have to keep an eye on the manufacturer’s website for further details.
