The Vitus Audio SM-025 is a high-end monoblock power amplifier that firmly occupies the upper end of the market—a fact reflected in its equally premium price tag.
The SM-025 is certainly not an affordable amplifier, but serious high-end enthusiasts are rewarded with an impressive technical specification. Operating in pure Class A, each monoblock delivers up to 100 watts into 4 ohms. When switched to Class AB operation, maximum output increases to 400 watts into 4 ohms.
To ensure stable power delivery, the amplifier employs Vitus Audio’s proprietary low-loss transformer, rated at 1,400 VA. Power supply filtering is handled by capacitors with a combined capacitance of 180,000 µF. The entire amplifier is fully balanced from input to output.
The Vitus Audio SM-025 is priced at €55,000 per pair and is available in standard white, silver and black finishes. Optional orange, champagne and grey finishes are also offered at an additional cost.
Those looking for a matching preamplifier can pair the monoblocks with the Vitus Audio SL-103 Mk I, which carries a retail price of €36,000.
