Monitor Audio has announced that its flagship Hyphn loudspeaker is now available in more than 200 custom finishes. Every bespoke version is hand-painted and hand-built in the UK, with each speaker manufactured exclusively to order. This allows customers to select a finish that perfectly complements their listening room and interior.
“As a showcase of Monitor Audio’s design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, the Hyphn is the most creatively ambitious and technically advanced loudspeaker the company has ever developed. Its unique enclosure, precision-machined from a composite of acrylic, minerals and natural pigments, provides a seamless appearance while creating a listening environment free from unwanted resonance,” the company states.
So Many Choices…
The distinctive cabinet has now become the canvas for an almost limitless degree of personalisation. Buyers can choose from a colour palette of more than 200 finishes, available in matte, gloss and metallic variants.
Each custom Hyphn cabinet is hand-painted in the United Kingdom before being assembled by a small team of specialist technicians at Monitor Audio’s headquarters in Rayleigh, Essex. Customers should expect a lead time of approximately three months between placing an order and delivery.
The three original Hyphn finishes—Matte Heritage Green, Matte Black and Pure Satin White—will remain part of the range. The new custom programme complements these standard finishes, offering customers an even greater level of personalisation.
