This month, Teufel is celebrating 15 years of serving the Dutch market—and marking the occasion with a charitable initiative.
Since 2011, music lovers, movie enthusiasts and home entertainment fans in the Netherlands have been able to purchase Teufel products directly through the company’s Dutch online store.
Over the past fifteen years, countless Teufel products have found their way into Dutch homes, offices, gardens and parties. From in-ear headphones and Bluetooth speakers to soundbars and complete home cinema systems, direct online sales have helped establish the Berlin-based brand among a growing community of Dutch audio enthusiasts.
Rob Peters, Chief Revenue Officer at Teufel, commented:
“We are proud of the trust our Dutch customers have placed in us. I’m also proud of the strong community we have built together over the past fifteen years. While celebrating this anniversary, we not only want to reflect on what we have achieved, but also demonstrate—together with Sounds of Change—how powerful music can be as a tool for connecting and supporting people.”
Sounds of Change
According to Teufel, the company has built a strong relationship over recent years with the Dutch foundation Sounds of Change, which uses music as a tool for social change and psychosocial support.
Peters continued:
“Sounds of Change trains aid workers, teachers, psychologists and musicians to use music in a trauma-sensitive way when working with children, young people and adults in vulnerable situations such as refugee camps, disadvantaged neighbourhoods and former conflict zones. As we celebrate an anniversary centred around sound, we believe it is important to highlight music’s power to bring people together, and we are delighted to support the projects of Sounds of Change.”
A Unique Speaker Set
To give the campaign additional visibility, Teufel has teamed up with Rotterdam-based art collective AAAFRESH123.
The collective has transformed a pair of ULTIMA 40 loudspeakers into unique works of art in its distinctive visual style. The customised speakers form the centrepiece of a special prize draw: everyone who participates through the dedicated donation page has a chance to win the set, while all proceeds will go to Sounds of Change.
Peters concluded:
“With this campaign, we are celebrating fifteen years of Teufel Netherlands in a way that reflects both our brand and our love of music. Anyone who donates supports the work of Sounds of Change while also having the opportunity to win a unique piece of art that happens to sound fantastic as well. Participation is also possible without making a donation, but every contribution helps bring music to places where it can truly make a difference.”
Anniversary Page
In addition to supporting Sounds of Change, Teufel is inviting customers to visit its special anniversary page, where visitors will find exclusive promotions, a look back at the company’s history and a range of attractive anniversary discounts.
