Roberts has introduced a new series of all-in-one music systems under the Revere name. And the prices are quite reasonable!
The new Roberts Revere all-in-one systems offer something for everyone. Let’s start with the flagship of the series, the Revere 500. According to the manufacturer, this system is designed for larger listening rooms. It comes equipped with DAB, DAB+ and FM tuners for traditional radio listening.
Streaming enthusiasts are also well catered for. You can connect the device to your home network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, allowing you to listen to Spotify Connect, including support for Spotify Lossless, Deezer and internet radio.
If you would rather listen to your collection of trusty old CDs, the built-in CD player will certainly come in handy. And should you need it, Bluetooth is also available for playing those sweet sounds from your smartphone, for example.
To send all that music out into the world, the Revere 500 features two 6.3cm full-range drivers and two 8.9cm woofers. As for connections, an Ethernet port, AUX input and USB are provided.
The Middle Ground
If the 500 is just a little too large for your needs, take a look at the middle model in the series: the Revere 300. This version does without the streaming module, although Bluetooth is still available. Consequently, you can still enjoy numerous streaming services, provided you use your smartphone as the streaming source.
Once again, the familiar trio of radio tuners is included. The speaker configuration is somewhat more modest, consisting of two 7.6cm full-range drivers. And yes, the CD player is also present in this model!
And the Smallest
That leaves the most compact member of the family, the Revere 100. Like its bigger brothers (sisters?), this model is also housed in an acoustically tuned wooden cabinet.
What you won’t find here is either a streaming module or a CD player. However, Bluetooth is available, along with the same trio of radio tuners.
This time, the speaker configuration consists of two 5.7cm drivers, assisted by a downward-firing 13.3cm passive bass radiator. According to the manufacturer, this combination should deliver a surprisingly warm and room-filling sound.
