Cambridge Audio has introduced the Melomania A100 SE. These wireless in-ear headphones come equipped with Dolby Spatial Audio.
If you would like to enjoy a more spacious sound while on the move, the new Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 SE could be an interesting option. After all, these in-ear headphones support Dolby Spatial Audio. According to the manufacturer, they also deliver deeper bass, richer midrange and crystal-clear treble, improving even further on their predecessor. Among other things, an internal Class A/B amplifier helps achieve this. The 10mm drivers have, of course, been specifically fine-tuned for these earphones.
Digital signal processing is handled by a 240 MHz Qualcomm Kalimba DSP. The wireless earbuds use Bluetooth, as you would probably expect, with support for aptX Lossless, LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs. Depending on the codec used, the maximum supported audio resolution is 24-bit/96 kHz.
Thanks to their IPX5 water-resistance rating, you can continue listening to the Melomania A100 SE outdoors, even during a fairly substantial rain shower. Meanwhile, active noise cancellation (ANC) is available to suppress unwanted background noise. For hands-free calls, six microphones are provided, designed to ensure that your voice comes through clearly and without unwanted interference.
With the supplied charging case, you get a total of up to 39 hours of listening time without needing a power outlet, provided both the earbuds and the case are fully charged beforehand.
The Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 SE is available in blue and white, at a rather attractive price of €149.
