Spanish manufacturer Vulkkano has introduced its new Desk desktop speakers. And at a remarkably competitive price!
Admittedly, we haven’t had a chance to listen to them yet. However, both visually (in terms of design) and on paper (judging by the specifications), the new Vulkkano Desk speakers already look interesting. Especially when you consider their exceptionally low price. In fact, given the features on offer, we’d almost call it spectacularly low.
These are genuine desktop speakers, measuring just 10 x 15 x 16.5 cm. That makes them ideal for use with a laptop or conventional desktop computer. As for connections, you can choose between USB-C, an analogue AUX input and HDMI ARC. The latter also makes the speakers perfectly suitable for use with a television. Meanwhile, Bluetooth 5.3 is available for those who prefer wireless connectivity. And if you find yourself wanting a little more bass, there’s a subwoofer output. Vulkkano also offers its own range of subwoofers for precisely that purpose. Under the hood, a Class D amplifier module delivers a total output of 50 watts RMS.
A nice touch is the included pair of small stands, which position the speakers at a slight upward angle on your desk.
And then there’s that promised price: just €89.99 for a pair!
