As you may have noticed, we have recently done a substantial update to the comment system. It not only looks better: it simply works nicer. At least; that’s our opinion.
Now we are going to overhaul the Alpha Forum. This is a major operation that we have been working on for a few weeks. We are switching between two systems, where more than 10 years of content has to be migrated. You don’t do that overnight.
Despite the fact that we test everything in a test environment, it can happen that during the integration the website goes a little ‘haywire’ or even goes offline. We find that very annoying, but sometimes there is no other way.
