An impressive result: Philips TVs, monitors and audio products have won no fewer than seven Red Dot Design Awards.
The design team for Philips TVs, monitors and audio products in Amsterdam has once again received international recognition for its distinctive European designs. Philips Ambilight TVs, monitors and the new children’s headphones collectively won seven awards at the Red Dot Design Awards 2025.
These renowned design prizes are awarded by an independent jury of 50 international design experts. Each year, the Red Dot Awards recognize the very best in product design, based on criteria such as functionality, quality, ergonomics, innovation and sustainability.
Philips explains—in its own words—why the following products received awards:
Philips OLED+950 Ambilight TV
The new flagship Philips OLED+950 is designed to showcase the very best picture quality of 2025. Its understated, almost bezel-free design, featuring an ultra-thin aluminum frame and elegant feet, ensures that all attention is focused on the screen. Thanks to a top-tier OLED panel, four-sided Ambilight and a powerful integrated audio system, the OLED+950 delivers a highly immersive and premium viewing and listening experience. (Available from October 2025)
Philips OLED+910 Ambilight TV
The Philips OLED+910 builds on the multiple award-winning collaboration between Philips Ambilight TV and Bowers & Wilkins. This year’s model once again takes premium design, picture and sound to the next level. The integrated sound system is subtly incorporated into the design, with soft curves that harmoniously blend technology and aesthetics. Luxurious Kvadrat fabric and a refined remote control with hidden, backlit buttons further emphasize the elegance of this modern eye-catcher. (Available from September 2025)
Philips OLED850 Ambilight TV
The Philips OLED850 is designed for users who want to seamlessly combine design, ease of use and sound quality. Its central, swivel-mounted stand allows the ultra-slim Philips TAB8200 Soundbar to be integrated perfectly. Thanks to magnetic mounting on the metal stand and a matching dark-metal finish, the result is a cohesive look. A smart cable-management solution completes the harmonious overall design. (8 Series, OLED810 / OLED850 available from July 2025)
Philips K4200 Children’s Headphones
The new K4200 children’s headphones combine a fresh, trendy design with child-friendly technology. Clean lines and a playful illuminated ring make them visually appealing, while volume limiting (85 dB) and adjustable limits via the Philips app provide peace of mind for parents. The children’s headphones are available in two color variants. (Already available)
In addition to the products listed above, the design department also received three Red Dot 2025 Design Awards for the Philips B2D500 and B2D400 monitor series, as well as the new Philips Evnia 5000 Gaming Monitor.
Rod White, Chief Design Officer, commented on the latest Red Dot Awards:
