Give the Chinese manufacturers credit (although they could still work on their brand names), as demonstrated by the new JMGO N3 Ultimate 4K projector.
Not everything coming out of China belongs in the budget category. Even the more premium products from that part of the world are often significantly cheaper than their Western A-brand counterparts. The new JMGO N3 Ultimate 4K projector is a good example of that. This compact projector stands out primarily because of several unusual features. Among them are a “smart gimbal” and a 3-in-1 integrated optical system. According to the manufacturer, the latter is a world first.
Those three functions consist of four-way lens shift, optical zoom and the aforementioned gimbal system. Together, they are intended to make installation virtually effortless, always ensuring a correctly aligned image on either a wall or projection screen. There is even a memory function allowing different settings to be stored for different walls or projection surfaces.
The JMGO N3 Ultimate supports Dolby Vision HDR and accompanying Dolby Audio features. A refresh rate of up to 240 Hz combined with an extremely low latency of just 1 ms should also make gamers very happy.
The standard retail price for all this technology is €2,999, although at the time of writing an introductory price of €2,499 is available. Orders can be placed directly at the manufacturer’s website.
