Unlike most video streaming services, Apple is giving subscribers access to 4K versions of selected content at no additional cost.
Most streaming platforms offer a range of subscription tiers, from basic Full HD plans with advertisements to premium 4K packages with additional features. Naturally, prices vary considerably, and many users eventually grow tired of the advertisements included with the lower-priced plans.
Apple TV subscribers, however, are benefiting from a different approach. A substantial selection of content is quietly being upgraded to 4K, without requiring customers to switch to a more expensive subscription. Newly upgraded titles include Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Season 1), Heated Rivalry (Season 1), Sexpectations (Season 1) and many more.
