Teufel has introduced the CINEBAR PRO 2 with Dolby Atmos, the most powerful soundbar in the German brand’s CINEBAR series to date.
The Teufel CINEBAR PRO 2 is a fully active system. According to the Berlin-based manufacturer, the newcomer combines ‘immersive sound with HDMI 2.1 and Wi-Fi streaming, without the need for a separate AV receiver. Together with the supplied T 10 Mk2 subwoofer, it forms a complete solution for movies, music and gaming.’
The main features, in the manufacturer’s own words:
- High-end 5.1.2 soundbar for movies, music and gaming
- True 3D sound with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Dynamore
- Ten powerful drivers for clear, precise and room-filling sound
- Extensive format support, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD
- High-resolution Wi-Fi streaming via AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and TuneIn
- HDMI 2.1 and eARC, plus optical, AUX, Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.3
- Deep wireless bass with the T 10 Mk2 or compact T 8 subwoofer
- Expandable to 7.1.2 with wireless EFFEKT 2 rear speakers
- Intuitive operation via OLED display, touch controls, remote control and Teufel Home app
Precise Spatial Sound With Height
The CINEBAR PRO 2 features three coaxial drivers at the front. According to Teufel, these provide clear dialogue, a stable stereo image and precise reproduction of musical instruments. Meanwhile, two upward-firing drivers direct sound towards the ceiling, reflecting it back to the listening position and adding the height dimension associated with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The manufacturer’s proprietary Dynamore technology further expands the soundstage, creating a wide, room-filling listening experience.
Smart Streaming and Extensive Connectivity
Via Teufel Home, the CINEBAR PRO 2 can stream playlists and podcasts over Wi-Fi in high quality, with support for AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and TuneIn. Bluetooth 5.3 is also integrated. In addition, two HDMI 2.1 inputs and HDMI eARC/CEC make the soundbar a suitable companion for televisions and other multimedia sources.
Deep Bass and Wireless Expansion
The supplied T 10 Mk2 subwoofer provides what Teufel describes as ‘deep, powerful bass’ through a wireless connection, allowing it to be positioned flexibly within the room. Furthermore, the optional wireless EFFEKT 2 rear speakers expand the standard 5.1.2 configuration into a 7.1.2 system, adding rear channels for more precise surround effects.
Slim Design, Easy Operation
Available in Night Black or Pure White, the slim CINEBAR PRO 2 is designed, according to Teufel, to complement the television in style. Operation is possible via the OLED display, touch controls, supplied remote control or Teufel Home app. Meanwhile, the Movie, Music, Game, Voice+ and Night modes provide suitable sound profiles at the touch of a button.
