Harman International has announced that its subsidiary AKG will now be distributed by the Austrian company Aqipa throughout Europe.
Aqipa, based in Austria, will handle the European distribution and marketing of AKG. Harman International is hopeful for a long and fruitful partnership, as stated in the announcement posted on Aqipa’s LinkedIn page. The distributor (and more) will be working not only within the EU but also in the UK and Switzerland. Notably, AKG itself originally hails from Austria, which will likely ensure a compatible working culture.
The collaboration between AKG and Aqipa will be officially announced at the upcoming IFA in Berlin, where you will also be able to check out their new headphone series.
