German-British brand Lindy introduces the brand-new Lindy BNXe ANC headphones — packed with features, and a surprisingly low price tag!
A headphone designed for daily use — including commuting to work or school — shouldn’t be overly expensive. After all, the risk of loss, damage, or theft outside the home is relatively high. Even at home, an affordable pair of headphones can be a practical ‘daily driver.’ From that perspective, the BNXe offers a compelling price-performance ratio. In addition to ANC (including a transparency mode), the BNXe offers a respectable battery life of 55 hours on a full charge. Its IP54 moisture and dust resistance rating makes it suitable for outdoor use. Inside the over-ear headphones, you’ll find 40 mm drivers.
Wireless listening is handled via Bluetooth 5.3. Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t specify which codecs are supported. The Bluetooth chipset used is the Chinese AC7018, which isn’t well-documented — so support for AAC or AptX remains unclear. On the other hand, the price of just £79.99 makes it an attractive option regardless.
