According to Teufel, the MYND represents “an important step towards a more sustainable future.” The housing of this Bluetooth speaker is made from 50% recycled plastic. It features a modular design, allowing components such as the integrated battery to be replaced, significantly extending the speaker’s lifespan. All schematics and specifications are publicly accessible, enabling tech-savvy users to expand the speaker’s features and carry out repairs themselves.
Robust. Repair. Recycle.
The rugged housing is designed to protect against bumps and shocks and is certified IP67 dust- and waterproof. The MYND can even withstand short submersion in water. Its fully modular design contributes to optimal repairability. The casing is assembled with screws, allowing users to easily open it and replace parts like the battery. A bonus: hobbyists can expand the MYND with custom features. Teufel has made all specifications publicly available, including the firmware source code and 3D-print files for the casing parts.
Teufel explains: “In developing a new product, reuse of raw materials often receives little attention. But by considering this already during the design phase, we can make a positive environmental impact. All MYND components can be individually separated. This simplifies recycling at the end of the speaker’s long life and makes it easier to reintegrate materials into the production cycle.”
A True Teufel Product

The 2.1 system delivers outstanding audio thanks to a large midrange driver and two tweeters with waveguides for wide sound dispersion. The woofer pair is supported by two large passive radiators to deliver powerful bass.
Built for Everyday Use
The battery offers up to 40 hours of playback at medium volume. Charging is done via the universal USB-C port—either fast or slow, depending on your preference. The accompanying Teufel Go app includes a battery-saving charging mode, which charges the battery more slowly and not to full capacity, helping extend battery life. The adjustable strap makes the MYND easy to carry anywhere. Playback can be controlled via the speaker’s physical buttons or through the app, which also offers sound settings, LED display brightness control, and a sleep timer. You can even disable system sounds if desired.
