With the Beyerdynamic Aventho 100, the German audio brand is aiming to position a mid-range over-ear headphone with ANC in the market.
Many flagship headphones in premium product lines cost several hundred euros. And when it comes to true high-end models—well, let’s not even start talking about affordability. That’s why manufacturers often introduce a slightly more accessible model below their flagship offerings. It allows much of the top-tier technology to reach a broader audience. That’s exactly what we’re seeing with the new Beyerdynamic Aventho 100.
Instead of an over-ear design, this model opts for an on-ear form factor, making it noticeably more streetwise. That might give the Aventho 100 a unique appeal—not just for people seeking a more affordable model, but also for those looking for a headphone that’s less bulky and more fashion-forward. On-ear models simply tend to be more stylish.
Solid Battery Life
That said, the Beyerdynamic Aventho 100 still offers a lot. The build feels premium, and its design draws inspiration from the increasingly popular 1970s aesthetic. It’s a closed-back headphone equipped with 45 mm drivers. Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) is included, along with a transparency mode. Voice calls also come through clearly, thanks to Qualcomm’s Clear Voice Cancellation technology.
Battery life is a key factor for any wireless headphone, and the Aventho 100 delivers here as well: 40 hours of playtime with ANC enabled, and up to 60 hours without ANC.
The Beyerdynamic Aventho 100 is available now for €199, and comes in black, brown, or cream finishes. Included in the box are a carrying pouch, a 3.5 mm audio cable, and a USB-C charging cable.
