Always useful to have on hand: a portable DAC dongle like the brand-new Azla A100, complete with hi-res audio support.
While the manufacturer is best known for producing memory foam eartips for in-ears, Azla is now branching out with the A100 — an ultra-compact portable DAC that marks a new direction for the company. The DAC chip used supports PCM resolutions up to 32-bit / 384 kHz.
Essentially, it’s a plug-and-play dongle with a USB-C connector on one end and a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the other. Just plug it into your laptop, tablet, or smartphone — and start listening. According to Azla, the short internal cable uses silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors to ensure optimal signal quality.
The Azla A100 is priced at just $19, and comes with a storage pouch and a USB-C to USB-A adapter included. Available now via retailers such as Amazon (as shown in the screenshot above).
