Noble Audio Kronos flagship in-ear

The new Noble Audio Kronos in-ear monitor immediately takes the crown as the brand’s flagship, equipped with no fewer than nine drivers.

In addition to its nine drivers, the Noble Audio Kronos features a six-way crossover. Essentially, the Kronos is an evolution of the Chronicle, a special edition released for the company’s tenth anniversary. Demand for that model far outstripped supply, so a full production version was developed — with refined specs and premium materials, including CNC-machined titanium housings adorned with Damascus faceplates.

Looking closer at the driver configuration, the Kronos uses two dynamic drivers — one 7 mm bass and one 10 mm sub-bass — along with a dual-membrane bone conductor, four Knowles balanced armatures covering the mid and high frequencies, and finally two Sonion electrostatic drivers for the ultra-highs. According to the manufacturer, the impedance is under 35 ohms, ensuring compatibility with portable players. Each unit is hand-assembled.

Included with the Noble Audio Kronos is a cable made of OCC silver conductors plated with palladium, terminating in a 4.4 mm balanced connector. A premium storage case and other accessories are also part of the package. The price for all this craftsmanship and performance is €4,750.
