Teufel introduces the ROCKSTER CROSS 2, a Bluetooth speaker built for rugged use and armed with a long playtime.
According to the Berlin-based manufacturer, the ROCKSTER CROSS 2 is made for adventure. It’s designed to withstand knocks, bumps, and even the heaviest downpours. The speaker also offers long battery life on a full charge, and thanks to integrated handles and a practical carrying strap, you can easily take it anywhere. “But,” Teufel notes, “what truly sets the ROCKSTER CROSS 2 apart is its full, powerful sound.”

Built for adventure
“The Teufel developers have given the ROCKSTER CROSS 2 a rugged housing with IPX5 water-jet protection, making it perfect for outdoor adventures,” its announcement reads. The new version features several upgraded details, such as a USB-C charging port and a wider carrying strap. Added bonus: the Teufel ROCKSTER CROSS 2 is also available in two completely new colour combinations, adding Black & Green and Light Gray to the original Black & Red.
‘Big battery, big sound’
With up to 46 hours of runtime, the ROCKSTER CROSS 2 can be used for long stretches without a power outlet. Its built-in amplifier delivers up to 39 watts of output, while Teufel’s in-house Dynamore technology—developed in Berlin—ensures “a perfect listening experience with a noticeably wider stereo panorama.” An outdoor mode optimises the sound for open-air use, and when placed on the ground, the speaker can be tilted for the best projection angle.
Full control
The controls on the ROCKSTER CROSS 2 have been completely redesigned. All buttons are now arranged in a row along the top of the speaker, and, according to the manufacturer, are “pleasantly large and easy to operate.” The speaker can also be controlled via the Teufel Go app, which includes an equalizer for sound adjustment. With a button on the device or via the app, two ROCKSTER CROSS 2 units can be paired as a stereo set, and up to 100 compatible Teufel speakers can be linked together in series.
Pricing and availability
The ROCKSTER CROSS 2 outdoor Bluetooth speaker is available now via the manufacturer’s website in Black & Red, Black & Green, and Light Gray. A ROCKSTER CROSS 2 stereo set is also available for €569.99.
