The new iFi Audio GO Pod Air is a set of Bluetooth adapters that bring “better” Bluetooth performance to your in-ear monitors.
By “better,” we mean that the new iFi Audio GO Pod Air supports hi-res wireless audio at 24-bit / 96 kHz. Of course, a wired connection to a pair of high-end in-ear monitors is still superior when it comes to sound quality, but sometimes practicality wins out. That’s exactly where these adapters—designed to connect to standard cable inputs—come into play. Internally, they use the QCC514x chipset combined with a Cirrus Logic DAC chip. Each adapter weighs just 10 grams, so weight won’t be an issue.
Interchangeable connectors
When it comes to supported Bluetooth codecs, the GO Pod Air covers SBC, AAC, aptX Classic, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, and LHDC/HWA. The interchangeable connectors make them compatible with both 2-pin and MMCX in-ear connections. A fully charged battery provides up to 7 hours of playback, while the included charging case extends usage to around 15 hours. For extra convenience, two built-in microphones with noise reduction are included, making hands-free calls easy.
