Sendy Audio has introduced the Apollo PRO, a lightweight planar magnetic headphone designed to deliver what the company describes as “immersive listening enjoyment and long-lasting comfort.”
The new Sendy Audio Apollo PRO is a premium open-back planar magnetic headphone that, according to the manufacturer, combines advanced nano-diaphragm technology, refined craftsmanship and a lightweight design to create a more comfortable high-end listening experience.
Nano-Diaphragm Planar Driver Technology
At the heart of the Apollo PRO is a custom-developed 78 mm planar magnetic driver. Its nano-scale composite diaphragm measures less than 800 nanometres in thickness and has been designed to improve response speed, clarity and overall resolution. According to the manufacturer, this results in a fast, spacious and highly detailed presentation across music, films and gaming.
The Apollo PRO also incorporates Sendy Audio’s proprietary Electron Beam Evaporation Deposition technology. This process applies an aluminium conductor structure directly to the diaphragm surface with high precision, improving vibration control and frequency consistency. The result, according to the company, is better layering and a more refined listening experience.
Lightweight Design for Extended Listening
Weighing just 354 grams, the Apollo PRO has been engineered to deliver the scale and openness planar magnetic headphones are known for, while maintaining a lighter and more comfortable design suitable for extended listening sessions.
The open-back construction is complemented by refined zebrawood earcups and a distinctive sunburst-pattern metal mesh grille. According to Sendy Audio, this combination offers strong acoustic performance alongside a stylish contemporary appearance.
Soft, breathable velvet ear pads and a premium lambskin leather headband are designed to minimise heat build-up and listening fatigue during long sessions.
Precision CNC-machined aviation-grade aluminium components and a flexible adjustment mechanism help the Apollo PRO adapt naturally to the listener, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit.
Premium Cable and Balanced Connectivity
Included with the Apollo PRO is a detachable balanced cable constructed from Furukawa OFC copper, silver-plated copper and enamelled gold-plated copper. Combined with a graphene-reinforced shielding structure, the cable has been designed to provide stable, interference-free signal transmission while enhancing detail retrieval and clarity.
The headphone package also includes a 4.4 mm balanced connection as well as adapters for both 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm outputs, allowing easy integration with a wide range of portable and desktop audio systems.
