Themed products remain a popular way for manufacturers to celebrate iconic artists and brands. This time, it’s Technics paying tribute to The Rolling Stones with a limited-edition version of its flagship in-ear earbuds.
The Technics EAH-AZ100 is now available in a special The Rolling Stones Edition, limited to just 5,000 individually numbered units worldwide. They feature an elegant black finish, while the charging case proudly displays the band’s instantly recognisable tongue-and-lips logo. Its launch has been carefully timed to coincide with the release of The Rolling Stones’ new album, Foreign Tongues—a fitting match for the famous logo adorning the case.
Each special edition is individually numbered from 0001 to 5000. Unfortunately, buyers cannot choose a specific serial number, so the number you receive is entirely a matter of chance.
At €299, the special edition isn’t dramatically more expensive than the standard model, making it an attractive collectible for both music lovers and Rolling Stones fans alike. Those interested may want to act quickly, however, as availability is naturally limited.
At the time of writing, no information about this version of the EAH-AZ100 can yet be found on the official Technics website. Fortunately, the company has already showcased the earbuds in full on its Facebook page (see the screenshot above).
