The fact that the cassette is enjoying a revival is hardly news anymore. A manufacturer such as We Are Rewind is benefiting nicely from that trend with its range of portable cassette players.
Every now and then, the company releases a themed box set, and the latest is dedicated to Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. Naturally, the album itself is included on cassette, while the accompanying WE-001 player has been given the same themed design, complete with the iconic prism artwork.
The player combines retro styling with modern features, including Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless listening. It also has a built-in rechargeable battery, offering up to 12 hours of playback on a full charge.
According to the manufacturer, this particular version of the player also offers an extended frequency response ranging from 30 Hz to 14.5 kHz.
