Noble Audio Osprey

The new Noble Audio Osprey is a pair of true wireless in-ear headphones that—certainly by the brand’s standards, but also in general—comes with a surprisingly affordable price tag.

The artistic appearance of the new Noble Audio Osprey immediately catches the eye. But as with so many things in life, what really matters is what’s hidden underneath that attractive exterior. In this case, we’re dealing with a fully wireless in-ear design based on Bluetooth 5.4, with support for LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs. LDAC will be particularly interesting to Android users, as it can provide higher audio quality than standard SBC, while AAC caters nicely to those in the Apple camp.

According to Noble Audio, the Osprey has been designed for long and enjoyable listening sessions. The earphones weren’t developed around their appearance alone; the main goal was to deliver the best possible sound quality. As such, they are intended to produce a cohesive, immersive, and engaging soundstage.

ANC

Noble Audio also says it has paid considerable attention to ergonomics. The Osprey should sit comfortably and securely in the ear, with a good fit also providing a degree of passive isolation from ambient noise. Internally, the earphones are built around the Airola 1571 chipset. In addition to passive noise isolation, active noise cancellation (ANC) is provided, making the Osprey particularly suitable as a travel companion. Hands-free calling is also possible thanks to the built-in microphones.

Battery life is, of course, an important consideration with true wireless in-ears. The Osprey offers up to 7 hours of playback, or 5 hours with ANC enabled. When you’re away from a power outlet, the included charging case allows you to top them up on the go. A quick 10-minute charge provides another 2 hours of playback.

The Noble Audio Osprey is priced at €225.
